Today I learned that there is an $89 open source SIP phone. Open hardware and software, plus it has room for expansion boards. One such expansion board is a LoRa radio.
There is a Pro version ($139) which is the same hardware, but it has an aluminium frame, as opposed to being polycarbonate.
